In order to be the most helpful, I need to know about you and what you're trying to do. There is no "best" camera; only what's best for you. That's why there are so many camera choices: because there are so many kinds of people. I don't need to know every camera you've owned since childhood, but I do need to know briefly who you are, what you do, in what area you live and what you're trying to accomplish.
